1974 Steve Garvey - MVP, better card

1995 Eric Karros - needs to be in set

1957 Johnny Podres - his other cards aren't that great, this is his best season

1990 Ramon Martinez

Personally like the 2003 Furcal as a Brave. Although he played in ATL for 6 years and LA for 6 years, he only started in 3 years in LA, 5 in ATL. Personal preference I guess......

True, but I was looking at his Atlanta cards and way too many errors. He cut them down a little later in career

I'd encourage the ambassadors to point out the holes of each franchise to help focus the debates.

Dodgers POST & EXP needs
EXP--better 1b, 1974 Garvey and 1995 Karros
EXP--There is NO USABLE SS in the EXP Dodgers set, improve Bill Russell(1978), maybe Furcal
EXP--Dodgers need better CF--2009 Kemp AND 1970 Willie Davis
POST-1957 Johnny Podres, best season

1974 Jimmy Wynn. Should have been the MVP

I think Karros and Ramon Martinez are good suggestions. I agree about Furcal, slim pickings for the Dodgers at SS but he might still be a good addition even with the injury risk.

A few suggestions for the Dodgers:

1/ Zack Wheat. 1916 season. A slightly cheaper model. Led the league in slugging and total bases. 150 ops+. Should be a better fielder than his '24 & '25 seasons. If the splits are to be believed, he should be a 2R at least.

2/ Burleigh Grimes. 1921 season. A better Brooklyn season than what we have. His best WAR year (7.8), led the league in wins (22), complete games, strikeouts, and SO/9inn. 139 ERA+

3/ Doug Camilli. 1962 season. Son of Dolph's best season by a long shot (142 ops+). Righthand hitting catcher who destroys rhp (1.000 ops) (I would think at least a 5/6R).

4/ Ron Perranoski. 1963 season. 4th in MVP voting for this lefthanded reliever. Led the league in winning percentage and games pitched. 1.67 era, 179 era+ (career best), 4.5 WAR (not bad for a reliever). http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/39434/1660/1/60
