1989 Greg Gagne - Twins World Series SS
2006 Justim Morneau - MVP
1970 Cesar Tovar - better representative card
1999 Brad Radke
1963 - Camilo Pascual - one of the better SPs of 50s-60s. Needs a good card.
1986 Gary Gaetti

I'd encourage the ambassadors to point out the holes of each franchise to help focus the debates.

Twins EXP needs
EXP-RP depth
EXP-SP depth 99 Radke
EXP--need a SS--1989 Greg Gagne aint great but he was SS for two world champs
EXP-more OF options--2002 Torii Hunter, 1970 Cesar Tovar, 1977 Larry Hisle
EXP-also could use a Catcher somewhere between Mauer and Wynegar

SS - Greg Gagne probably best shortstop of expansion era
C - 1993 Brian Harper; 2003 AJ Pierzynski
OF 2007 Tori Hunter
RP not a deep category, but 2002 Eddie Guardado would be a good representative

Some possibilities for the Twins:
1/ Brant Alyea. 1970 season. Corner outfielder (probably not the greatest defensively). 142 ops+, 16 hrs in 258 abs, rh hitter who crushes rh pitching (.299/.353/.622 -- 11 hrs in 127 abs).
2/ Rob Wilfong. 1979 season. Lefthand hitting 2B who also plays all outfield positions. His best season (114 ops+), good defensively at 2B. Nice lower cap choice.
http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/842908/1680/1/803/ John Moses. 1988 season. Switchhitting outfielder who hits righties very well (5R). His best season (119 ops+), decent speed.
http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/838557/1680/1/804/ Josh WIllingham. 2012 season. Righthand hitting leftfielder (not that he can field). Silver Slugger winner. His best offensive season (143 ops+)

I was looking for an OPS improvement for the Minnesota Twins, and I found Bob Allison 1964. Yes, the Twins have two Allisons now, 1965 and 1968. But in 1964 he was at .287/.404/.553 (.957 OPS) while in 65 and 68 he was at 787 and 780. He also had above league average RF/9 at all three outfield spots.
1963 might also be a good choice as although his raw numbers were lower (911 OPS) he led the league in OPS and OPS+ and is over 600 PA. However, he barely played center this year, with a lower than league average RF/9 in CF. His corner OF ratings were above average

hmmm, looks like we'd need to combine the Senators and Twins forum strings. For those interested please see the Senators string for my recent post on player nomination. Feel free to pull relevant posts over there as well.
