17.1 Card Add process COMPLETED

Yes that's right we are going to get ahead of things for once. The goal will be to have a group of cards ready to submit the day SOM says they are ready for them...reducing the time to 'market' by 2-3 weeks.
First of all I'm going to add the manager handles to the Franchise and ERA forum titles so its easier to remember who is doing what.
17.1 Card Add, here we go, PLEASE NOTE, this voting will be done in stages. It may come across as overly complex but its not, we will methodically move through the groups as we build out the next 25.
...Heads up ERA Ambassadors, we'll be leaning heavily on your direction this Card Add as the focus will be non-EXP cards, but I want to leverage our 16.2 vote so here's the breakdown by group of the card adds for 17.1
1) 6 EXP Cards (3 each Pitcher and Batter)
2) 10 PostPreDB (PPD) Cards (5 each Pitcher and Batter)
3) 4 Low End Role playing type Cards from PPD
4) 5 Cards from the PPD ERAs, any combo of Pitcher/Batter
1) 6 EXP Cards
Batters
-Mike Piazza, NYM 2000 and Evan Longoria, TBR 2009 were the next two highest vote getters in 16.2, they're in.
-We will vote to include one more from the following list (I'll publish a poll so no voting here)
Andres Galaraga, COL '93
Willie Davis, LAD '71
Terry Pendleton, BRV '91
Luis Castillo, FLA 2003
Ken Singleton, BAL 1977
These were the next batch of players from EXP
Pitchers
-Madison Bumgarner, SFG 2013 was the next EXP pitcher in the voting, he's in.
-We will vote to include two more from the following list
Dontrelle Willis, FLA 2005
Barry Zito, A's 2002
JJ Putz, SEA 2007
Jake Peavy, SDP 2007
Octavio Dotel, HOU 2002
Grant Balfour, TBR 2008
RA Dickey, NYM 2012
Jason Schmidt, SFG 2003
Dallas Keuchel, HOU 2015
Rafael Betancourt, CLV 2007
2) 10 PPD Cards
Batters
-Elmer Flick, PHI 1900, Hank Sauer, CHC 1952 and George H Burns, CLV 1926 were the next highest non-EXP vote getters in 16.2, they're in.
-We will vote to include two more from a list that includes Cap Anson and Mike Tiernan. Need 8-18 more for our voting group, less is better in my opinion but 20 is a fine number. Anson and Tiernan don't have to be a part of the group as they were down the results a bit, up to the ERA ambassadors.
Pitchers
-Ted Abernathy, CIN 1967 and Noodles Hahn, CIN 1902 were the next highest non-EXP vote getters in 16.2, they're in.
-We will vote to include three more from a list that includes; Garland Braxton, Hugh Casey and Turk Farrell. Need 7-13 more. Only restriction is no additional REDS.
3) 4 Low End Role player Cards
This will need some thought. Only parameter is that these come from PPD. I'll start a thread for these specific players to allow the conversation/debates to be in one place. Ultimately we'll need 20 or so players for our vote. The art is going to be targeting players that will turn into cards in the under $3 mil range.
4) 5 PPD Cards
Once we have the 20 from the above buckets filled it should allow us to quickly pull together a voting pool of 20 or so to choose our final 5 spots. Also by putting this group last we could use some of the spots for ties if we want to.
As always I will pause for comments before moving forward.
tks
