Why is he not eligible at SS?

Apart from the 7 games he started there in the World Series in baseball history's most famous high-stakes gamble, Stanley played 6 full games at SS and started 8 in the regular season. There's no excuse why he isn't eligible at SS on his ATG card.

how was his fielding @ SS in those games? I've always had the same question? but...even though he's the best defensive CF his hitting sux no matter the position. maybe if they had a no GBP option league? :D he hits into so many DP's he may produce negative runs!

Maybe that is an online Strat decision. He is rated a SS-4e44 in 1968; doubt you 'd want to use that.
