NONE of the hitters for 2020 have the bare minimum of 300 PA required for nomination. Are they forever excluded from ATG consideration, even though there is a full set of SOM cards for this season? Here's a list of players who either have 0 or in-game only injury: Whit Merrifield, Jose Altuve, Dansby Swanson, Francisco Lindor, Trevor Story, Cesar Hernandez, Trea Turner, Starling Marte, Marcell Ozuna, Manny Machado, Maikel Franco, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Cavan Biggio, Nick Castellanos, Didi Gregorius, Freddie Freeman, Matt Olson, Carlos Santana, Kyle Seagar, Paul Goldschmidt.

Freeman had a monster season, winning the NL MVP.

Defensively challenged Ozuna had a breakout seaon, his best.

Machado had his best season, finished 3rd in the NL MVP voting.

Trea Turner also had an outstanding season, led all of MLB in offensive WAR.

I'm not stumping for anyone in particular from the 2020 season, but it's not their fault they don't have 300+ PA.
They should be allowed into ATG, treated just the same as the strike-shortened seasons.

I'm not particularly excited about small sample size cards, regardless of how or why they are added.

And some of the players I'd really like to see may have had their best seasons, like Freeman, but if I complain about other small sample size cards, I'm gonna be consistent. (There's always that Fred Lynn 1974 card, )
