Glitch?

Compared to other issues, this may seem ticky tack.

But last night, my team kicked a field goal to tie the game with one second left in regulation.

My kicker then proceeded to do what no NFL kicker would ever do. He kicked deep.

94 yard game winning return for TD.

Chose to run the clock out with a running play?

And, no timeout on the previous run?

Also from my game above, notice some very aggressive coaching by my opponent. He is trailing by three with 1:22 to play. Fourth down and three yards to go from my nine yard line. And he goes for it. Running play-TD.

Deja vu.

Two nights in a row my team loses or is tied by a kickoff return for a TD on the last play of regulation time.

I've been seeing this quite a bit. Its really confusing because it seems like they have it much better for the end of the 2nd quarter than for the end of the game. If I'm willing to try a 52 yard field goal in the 1st quarter, than I'd probably go ahead and take a shot at kicking a 45 yard field goal to tie or win rather than running for three yards and having time expire. The first time it happened I figured, oh well, Andy Reid coaching type of thing and just had poor clock management. But I've seen in enough now to figure out there are some major flaws with the end of the game decisions the engine is making.
Is anyone else noticing the 2nd quarter "two-minute drill" seems to be making much more appropriate choices than that of the end game?
