Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

I spent more money than the rest of my league on defense, but after 8 games, my team has the most points against. I know that's a small sample size, but it seems odd. I have played the football board game for years, and against the best defenses, it was rare to get a 150 yard running game or a 350 yard passing game, but it seems to be happening almost every game with me. Has anyone else noticed this with Football 365?

And last night, I started my top-salaried defense with the setting to focus on pass defense, and Mariota threw for 405 yards against us!!!
