I've been thinking about the idea of a new sort of Keeper League. I'm not sure if this has been done before or discussed before, but I think it'd be fun. Keeper Leagues themselves are fun and all, but winning credits when your team wins a Championship doesn't seem like a terribly great reward after pouring hours and hours of research into building a team.
Basically, it'd be the normal USKL rules, maybe with some amendments here or there depending on what the participating managers think. Difference would be each manager contributes $20 or $30 to a prize pool per season and the winner of the league receives the payout. The managers could decide through a discussion and vote whether they'd prefer cash prize or another prize (baseball tickets, strat credits, etc.) I know the money handling part is probably the most difficult, but with the explosion of fantasy sports, there's a few good sites that are reliable and safe for fantasy money managing. Hopefully I'm not violating any sort of strat policy by posting this, I'm merely trying to gauge the level of interest in this sort of league.
Would anyone be interested in this sort of thing?
