I don't really worry about clutch hitters too much either, but it is nice to have one clutch guy in the 5 or 6 hole...

Does anyone like using Austin "Action" Jackson in CF? I like his batting average, OBP, power and glove. I just wish he stole a few more bases and got caught stealing a little less. But then his card would be more expensive. I have a real love affair with the stolen base. I am thinking of using Austin "Action" Jackson for an 80 million dollar team in Fenway. I cut my guy Michael Bourn for Jackson, I figured Jackson is a righty and that works well in Fenway.

One of these days I want to try Drew Stubbs in a CF platoon against lefties. I can't find the perfect platoon for RHP, maybe Coco Crisp?

My 1st online team was a poor clutch team and it seemed every time Konerko came to the plate there were 2 outs & runners on and he rolled that 2-7---I had 1 clutch hit all year--that is why I asked if anyone had used Venable--he is one of the few cards with lots of clutch hits (12----2-7 & 3-7) and not too pricey--the one guy that answered said he wouldn't put much stock in clutch hits ---But my safest pick in 6 teams is Reyes at SS--- he doesn't get hurt (remainder of game only)--had him my last 2 teams and is doing well on both--I have/had Desmond on 3 teams and he underperforms or gets a 15 game injury--I prefer Reyes--less money--and you know he will be there

Desmond in nice in Coors or Cellular.

I fell in love with him and now he's a DP machine. That's all he does. I don't know where to put him in the lineup. You almost have to put him at lead off.

Jose Reyes seems like a real safe solid pick at SS for less than 6 million. I have not used him yet, but I like his card...

Has anyone had success with not so safe pick Jose Bautista aka Joey Bats? I say he is not a safe pick because of his injury chances. But as a RH power hitter who hits RHP well I like him for Fenway. When I add a player like 2012 Bautista I like to have a higher quality backup player.

I"m using Reyes in my first PC2013 team! I like the fact that you don't need to carry a backup for him. I realize that HAL will put in a horrible defensive player if he does get hurt for the remainder of the game, but it's really to few innings to even worry about

Steve F. I think that is really smart. If I had Reyes on my team I would not carry a backup SS on that team either. I would rather spend the money elsewhere and go a few innings with a bad defensive replacement, if it came to that.
