I feel for you. I have a team that has played 42 games. Four guys already have 15 game injuries, 2 guys have hit the DL twice (one had 19 ABs, one had 63). Two guys are injury 2, the others are all 1 including the guys hurt twice. I haven't finished a single game with my starting 9 and I have 5 games to go before my guys are all healthy. I just hope this means my team will be healthy for the last 60 games of the year. Maybe it is just one of those seasons. I just fired my trainer so that should help.

as mentioned its all where the rolls fall. I try avoiding 15 game guys like the plague and when I have to use one I make sure I get a real solid backup. I have noticed a trend that maybe a coincidence the last few nights but if one of my guys gets injured within a inning or two my opponent will lose a guy as well or visa versa. Anyone else see this happen?

Just as a counterpoint to this, however. Injuries _can_ be your friend. I often play with a sort of "injury platoon". Usually it's with 3 guys who all have high injury potential (2/3/4 injury rated) but can play two positions. LF/RF or 2b/3b is usually where you can find the most similar types of players. These guys can almost always be drafted in the late rounds allowing you place other more popular players or pitchers higher in your draft list. Yet, if you pick right, these guys can still be highly optimized for your park/team. HUGE competitive advantage in the draft, IMO. Also can give you a big pinch hitting advantage in a no-DH league.

If you load your draft with all 600+ PA guys, you will almost always get an early waivers pick.

Of course. It's simply natural distribution of such events. If the odds are two teams on average will experience an injury, say, every other game, don't expect every other game to have an injury. It could happen that way; nobody may get injured for quite a stretch; or, injuries may come in bunches. This isn't just (computer-generated) dice or Strat-O-Matic, it's life in general.
