New Theme League

I was thinking it would be pretty cool to set up a league with current team players, in other words fielder would be on Texas and Kinsler on Detriot. Is there anyone that would like to take the reigns, and start a league with this concept. Some of the more experienced players feel free to chime in. Of course we may have to make some exceptions to make a competitive league, has someone done this before?

The way I've seen it done successfully in the past is to have each manager select two teams (one team means the guy who picks 12th gets crushed by the guy with St. Louis or New York).

Start a forum thread, have a 1-12 serpentine draft order set by a randomizer, and each manager selects two teams (with the #1 drafter also getting the last pick).

Having done this last year, I can tell you it is pretty fun.

Thanks for your input J-Pav, I was also interested in making the teams with players from the current major league rosters, for the upcoming 2014 season. So, if you selected Texas as one of your teams, Fielder would be included on that team. Would you be interested in setting up the league? If not, do we have any takers that would be interested?

I'm the opposite of an early adopter. I like to be close to the league filling before I jump in to something like that, esp when theme leagues can go unfilled for weeks and months at a time.
