Yep - This happened

13 runs in the bottom of the 9th to pull out a 13-12 win! Too bad I was on the losing end, still incredible! We know from real life Benoit has a tendency to give up dramatic Grand Slam Home Runs!

I watch my games every morning. When this game got to 8-0, I was just fast forwarding thru every half inning. I was quite shocked when the screen looked like a slot machine fast forwarding thru the bottom of the 9th!

... and your team is called Lucky 13!

can it be ANY more obvious that HAL was just effing with you?

(the last batter's up with two outs and you're STILL leading by three!)

To tell you the truth, I'm not too surprised to see something like this happen. Granted 13 runs is a lot; however, I routinely see 8th and 9th innings where my opponents score 5 or 6 runs in a 60s league that I'm playing in. There is also a tendency to have home run barrages in the 8th and 9th innings where my opponents stage dramatic comebacks. And, whenever I have a starter cruising through a game and shutting out my opponent through 5 innings, there will inevitably be a wild 6th inning that features a series of errors, passed balls and wild pitches (more than I ever remember seeing in 40 plus years of watching real baseball) that will get my opponent back into the game. I don't remember seeing so many miracle comebacks when TSN was running the game, and I wonder if the program has been altered to make the games "more exciting."

Does anyone else think these things are occurring far too frequently or that the game has otherwise changed since Strat took it over from TSN?

No.

However, your question is proof you that can find conspiracy theories practically anywhere!

Congratulations. You've done in SOM what's never been done in real MLB.

Biggest 9th Inning Comebacks in Major League History

1901 - Cleveland scored 9 runs with 2 outs in bottom of 9th to win 14-13
1990 - Phillies scored 9 runs in bottom of 9th to win 12-11 vs Dodgers
2010 - Rockies scored 9 runs in bottom of 9th to win 12-9 vs Cardinals
