What a difference a decade makes

Read an article in the Dallas paper today about Arod meeting with Yankee brass and then this video was in my youtube recommendations. Suspect because I have been watching a lot of World Series videos. Ironic.

Just saw the episode yesterday. Cool stuff, i had forgotten a few details. My mind can't bring together ARod making it to the Red Sox, and the heroics of winning the way they did in 2004...

On a related note, anyone remember when SOM issued the first stellar card of ARod? My brother had drafted him in a keeper league when SOM made his first card, ops of200-ish...and the very next year, boom 54 doubles 30ish homeruns...he had his ss for the next 10 years.

And the funny thing is his intention was to draft Alex Gonzalez!!! His mind somehow had confused them.
