I'm actually back this time. I have a 2014 team. Don't have a clue. Getting a computer 2day. Happy about my childhood team winning their 3rd in 5 years, after I waited for them since 1954. But they're not looking too good this year. Yet. Probably the Cardinals turn again. But Washington sure looks good. The DBacks are at least trying. San Diego looks like they can give the hated Dodgers a run 4 their money. Itd b nice if the cubs players come around and they challenge for a Div title. I have so many friends from there. I couldn't have asked for a better postseason. My favorite alltime American League team - Sans G Brett and co. gave my favorite NL team and the public a great WS. Its a 1st for me.
You wouldn't think it growing up 40 Miles from Yankee Stadium in the 50's 60's and 70's. But I've always been a NL fan. Sparky Anderson and Whitey Herzog were my favorite Mgrs Bcuz they played NL style baseball in the AL.
We had another great Super Bowl here again. Tommy Boy finally gets his 4th, deservedly so. Why are there so many injuries these days - In all sports. UCONN beats Calipari and Ky last year and a 2nd Double Championship. I think the Cardinals are going with 6 QB's this year. maybe they'll still have 2 standing come playoff time.
I like the NBA less and lees each year. But you have to admit there is no clear favorite. And I certainly wouldn't mind a Warriors/Hawks Final. I think LeBron will have to wait 1 more year. Maybe Love will end up in LA, Phx or Boston afterall. I hate social media more than ever. Bless you Tom Izzo for coming out with that statement. I missed you guys, the banter, the competition. I hope you are still all here. I'm a grandfather now. My older daughter has been clean for 2+ yrs now. And I have a 1 yr old grandson. The League is up, but I may be the last to join as I haven't had a chance to look at the players yet.
Go Wisconsin, Michigan St and Duke. If its Duke and Ky, I will cheer for Duke for the 1st time since they beat UNLV. UCONN/DUKE, UCONN/Kentucky is like Giants and Dodgers for me. I'm happy to be back after a long layoff and looking forward to chatting it up once again. My very best to all my good friends here. Robert, the Southwest Psychic
