I'll join, but here's a question (I've never played in an iron glove league before) -

It sounds like you can have players with a 3 fielding range, but they just can't play at a position as a 3 range. Is this right?

If I'm right, how do you prevent him from playing at the position that he is a 3 range? Can you do this by setting 2 replacements at each position?

Or are you just prohibited from having a player with any 3 or better ranges on his card?

Players with different positions and ratings are sometimes moved by HAL during the game, because of injuries. We can't do anything about this. However if the injury is for an extended period of time, you need to replace the 4 in the field with a 4 defensively.

ie. Josh Harrison is a 4 @ SS. He is ONLY eligible for SS in this league OR DH. If he's in the field @ SS and an injury occurs and HAL moves him to 3B where he is a 2, so be it. However after the games have run, you cannot let HAL keep putting Harrison @ 3B. You need to manually replace your 4 fielder @ 2B.
