How waivers work

PostFri Mar 11, 2016 1:25 pm

I think I know how it works but the explanation used on the Waivers page always throws me off. If my claim didn't work out is it still my turn with my next claim being considered or do I go to the back of the line and wait till it's my turn again?

Yes it would go to your next claim. So not to the back of the line.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I think the explanation on the webpage should be re-written.

On your turn, Waivers goes to the next claim of your list if the player you are claiming is already taken by the time you draft, but if the player you are claiming is available and you don't have the cash, or it violates the roster restrictions, you do lose the pick, and go another round before you can pick again.

This is a good explanation. Also, good to know what could make you lose your spot in the order. None of this is explained anywhere as far as I know.
