Thinking of making a comeback

So I haven't played this game since 2012. I'm entertaining ideas of purchasing a 5 pack, but I don't want to spend the $80 if I'm not getting good value. What is the participation level like? Towards the end of my time it seemed like interest was waning and it was getting difficult to fill leagues. Just trying to gauge the temperature level before I go spending the $$!

I have had no trouble in the past year filling up standard 80 mil leagues in the current year set. maybe 2 or 3 days to fill.

As coolhandlewke mentioned leagues normally dont take long to fill and there are always a handful of interesting leagues being created to join. I took a 7 year break from the game and returned in 2012 and been addicted again since.

Saw the title of this thread and thought it was about Bret Favre.
