Any insight the vet players can give regarding relief pitcher over usage would be appreciated.
It seems from observation that after a relief pitcher gets past say 100% of their actual innings their performance goes in the tank. Like night and day differences. Is there some sort of built in component that acts like they are tired each outing after so many season innings pitched versus actual? Is there some sort of maximum relief innings pitched that triggers added fatigue?
