Newbie - do IPs and PA mean anything??

PostTue Mar 24, 2020 7:47 pm

Do I have to worry about IPs and PAs when drafting a team like in real SOM leagues?? I can't find anything. And if not are there some rules for starting mammoth cards with 150 ABs and so forth for all 162 games? How does that work.

No but pay attention to injury ranking and, for pitchers, endurance rating.

You can play low PA or IP as much as you want--price is based on the card itself, so low use monster cards are priced like they will be used as a full season players.

This is from the rules:

Injury duration limits

Position players
Real-life AB+BB Max. length of injury
0-599 no limit (can be injured for the max 15 extra games)
600-679 3 extra games
680+ remainder of game

Pitchers
Real-life IP Max. length of injury
0-199 no limit (can be injured for the max 15 extra games)
200-299 3 extra games
300+ remainder of game
