Injury Question/Starting Lineup

Heading into the next 3 game series, I have a starter who is injured for 1 game. Is it okay to leave him in lineup for games 2 and 3 of the series? Will the computer sub for him in the first game? Thanks for your help.

Yes. if you assign a backup he will replace the injured player listed in your starting lineup; otherwise the computer (HAL) will designate a sub for the injured player.
