extra innings

I am already done with this put a runner on 2nd to start extra innings thing. If they think that people are going to sit through 9 innings, and then say, "God i wish this game would just be over already" they are crazy. And at the same time, they are just going to tick off their current fans who like the game as is.

Theoretically, you could have a 30 batters up, 30 batters down game, and lose.

for me Im all for it!..playing games till 2 in the morning to empty stands decided by the 13 pitcher on your staff to me is much worse.Besides baseball is looking for a younger audience and the game to them is boring and slow to them anyway

I agree with the first post. It's not baseball when you are altering the runners.
But this is another thing that mlb is trying, so we may be stuck with it.
However --- now 7 inning doubleheaders????
Appreciate them getting the season in, but seems they are willing to alter things to an extreme.

Not "getting the season in", just playing some games for TV.
