Just adding an asterisk to the roll result seems like such a simple fix, but when it comes to all things coding I am way out of my depth. Past conversations seem to remind me what appears simple to the eye is never really so simple in execution. This and the Ohtani batter/pitcher thing are perfect examples.

So over your lifetime of games example, you should (statistically speaking) see this happen about 34 times. This is assuming simple fair dice rolls, untilted by fatigue rules. When you add in the heavy dice, I’m sure the odds change quite a bit.

Some other fun threads are throwing a no hitter and losing (this has happened many times) and both pitchers throwing a no hitter in one game (that has happened once, that I witnessed). It’s highly unlikely there’s something uniquely wrong with the game engine. Except for the thing where the same player gets injured on your other teams on the same night. That struggle is real.

check your math..the probability is once in 65, 536 .....so i would need to roll about 50000 more games for it to be expected to happen once

Checking the math… https://byjus.com/coin-toss-probability-calculator/

Probability of occurrence:

Show computation

0.0000305176 ~~ 1/32768 (assuming a fair coin)

Or .00003052.

Like I said.

Your number is for 16x in a row, which just means you’d see it 17 times instead of 34, so the extra 50,000 games thing makes zero statistical sense. Not that any of this really even matters though.
