A decade plus ago in this Forum, the Fielding Bible award winners were posted and discussed. Here are their choices for 2024:
(They don't do AL and NL separately)
Devensive player of the year - Daulton Varsho
1B - Matt Olson
2B - Andres Giminez
3B - Matt Chapman
SS - Masyn Winn
LF - Riley Greene
CF - Brenton Doyle
RF - Wilyer Abreu
C - Patrick Bailey
SP - Tanner Bibee
MLB released the Gold Glove winners today. Differences? Christian Walker instead of Olson. Ezequiel Tovar instead of Winn. Steven Kwan instead of Greene.
Carlos Santana became the oldest position player to win their first Gold Glove.
We'll see what Hal has to say about all this next month.
