Anyone know what's up with SOMWORLD?

Pretty sparse over on somworld.com, and links are going to the wrong places. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the folks who run it. I'm guessing they've lost some capacity.

Laurie Berry posted on Facebook that Will K. had health issues for the past 10 months and aplogized for the sparse content but said things should be improving shortly.

Thanks for the intel; I hadn't joined over on FB. Glad to hear everyone is on the mend.

They are three person team. Will K was ill. The other two could not pick up the slack unfortunately. I believe Will provides all the analysis and the other two simply add color commentary. They are months behind on their content. I understand there is a health issue, but customers did pay money for content, in which there is none to minimal. It is not a good situation. I have no recourse to get my money back since it was through paypal. Hopefully they extend my subscription and catch up getting their product out.

I've been wondering the same thing - they bounced back somewhat last year, and things seemed to be running more smoothly, but there hasn't been anything new posted for almost 2 weeks, and the last 2 "Articles" go to the wrong URL. I gave them my money in good faith, but I don't feel like I'm getting anything in return. Also, the only way you can Contact anyone there is on Facebook - which I refuse to be involved with. Anyone know what's up with them ?

I emnailed them and asked for a refund or at least a partial refund... they said they were pulling up my account then mothing for 2 weeks....

Yeah, it's a bit of a hot mess with a page that feels like it's from the early 2000s. But, counterpoint is that it costs less than one team on SOMO for a year's subscription. I still expect more, but it is what it is. If they had their business model tighter they'd hire some of you big brains to write and/or crunch numbers for a free subscription. As is, it's more slanted to cards and dice leagues and not a ton of value for 365 players.

I see the messages and posts from you about things wrong on the website. I promise I do! Will had to quit working on the site mid day earlier this week to have emergency surgery. Links were left broken and some information is incorrect. I am unsure when any of this will be fixed. He’s fighting to survive and I’m right here with him.
All I can do at this point is ask for your patience and understanding. If you cannot wait, then please send me a message with your name, email address associated with your PayPal account and telephone number. I will issue refunds accordingly. Due to the digital nature of our products, it’s not our practice to issue refunds once access has been gained; however, we are going to make situational exceptions.
