New 2015 MLB Team League (based on a league I put together in the 70's League two years ago)
80 Mil- DH- 5/10/20% League
24 Teams: Sign Up/Choose Your Own Team
Each team's core will consist of and reflect the 2015 core 7 players. (i.e. Kemp is a Padre and Lester is a Cub)
Once the 24 team roster fills, I will create league and post password.
Sign ups will be posted below at a near future date to ensure equal access to teams. Thanks- "Let's play two" !
1. Each Major League Team will have rights to as "keepers" the Top 7 players as designated; 4 position, 3 pitchers (generally 2 starters and 1 reliever) You own the rights to these players.
2. All players outside of the 7 player/24 team protected status are Free Agents and open to draft by any and all other
teams.
3. Teams must include those 7 players in their draft. After draft, any and all trades open.
4. Teams must release any players that are the property of any other teams AFTER the draft due to HAL factor. (No
"sandbagging" in the draft MUST BE on the honor system. That is avoiding drafting your 7 players to pick up a larger
quality pool during the draft, knowing, your 7 players will be released back to you)
5. Be sure to check the 7 player roster for all other teams and be sure to NOT include them in your draft.
6. Teams may choose any ballpark
7. Divisions will be random
8. If a protected player is released by their controlling team- they are like any other free agent and are thus up for grabs.
9. Teams are listed in generally descending roster $value. The bottom 12 teams in value are combined to create teams 19-24.
10. Sign Up/ Choose your own team- Frenzy - Master Roster will be posted at a near future date to offer equal access
Please Reply if interested. Do NOT post teams yet as I will offer a specified date and time as well as post a simple roster below. Choosing any teams below before the posting master roster at designated Date/Time will be void. Thanks!!
