Free credit question

Does Strat award us a free credit immediately after the regular season is over after having won our division? OR do they wait until the playoffs are completed in a given league before handing out the credits?

I know I got a credit added after winning my division but the added credit could be that I was one of the five lucky November recipients of a free credit. I think Strat is still doing those. But I didn't notice a November list yet.

And you don't get credits for winning your division. It's 2 for the winning team of a championship, and 1 for the losing team.
