Toles vs Benintendi

How is Toles in the regular set while Benintendi is deemed unleashed?

Both have 105 at bats and almost same number of hits (Toles has 2 more). Benintendi has 2 more walks so more PA's. both are rated a 2 in LF and a 3 in CF. both are slanted heavily towards righties (Benintendi L-5R, Toles L-4R). I'm in a keeper league (regular set only) and got screwed on this decision. I'd just like to understand it. Toles actually has the better BA and OBP and SLG but Benintendi is 1.5M more in salary. Don't see the reasoning.

Marketing. Not that that explains your specific complaint, but it explains the online games insistence of having an Unleashed set every year instead of just including all the cards. I contend that once this genie was let out of the bottle, they now have to create an Unleashed set every year.

The only argument I can see for Toles, is that he played in 48 games versus Benintendi's 34 games

You make a very good argument for that being an inconsistency. ... Maybe that is the type of thing they would have changed had they waited two more weeks to release the set. It is a trade off and like I always mention they are a very small company... Still that doesn't seem right.

I guess it is buyer beware if you are in a keeper league that does not use the unleashed set.

I think it has to do with the number of doubles. That card is going to hit an unrealistic number of doubles over the course of 650 PAs which is sort of what the unleashed set is for.

Benintendi 11 doubles, Toles 9 doubles...both have about 31-33 hits
