Sports Movies/Baseball Movies and Lonnie Chisenhall

I updated my list a bit. I only listed baseball and football movies. Here is a list of some other sports movies I like:

I heard both "The Wrestler" and "The Fighter" were GOOD movies but I am just not a fan of Mickey Rourke's and I get tired of seeing Mark Walburg in so many movies, though he was good in "Invincible".

"Miracle" was a really great movie about the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey team. Ken Burns documentary about Baseball was okay.

I know the purpose of The Fighter was Wahlberg's Micky Ward, but Christian Bale stole the film with his portrayal of Dicky Eklund, the heroin-addiction half- (or step) brother, in my opinion.

Christian Bale is a great actor.... Caddyshack (with story notes) is on AMC tonight and this month!

The Great Escape...when Steve McQueen keeps getting sent to the cooler with only his baseball and his glove. When I was a kid (an only child on a block with no children) I replayed the entire 1967 WS by bouncing a tennis ball against the wall of the garage....several times, no less......No wonder I turned out the way I did.
