You can try and convolute the facts all you want but it is what it is, Stanton <> Kershaw. You got called out and don't like.

I would take that deal. You can build a staff around Kershaw. Position players can be replaced easier.

Stanton's SOM card has never been all that great as he has been overly slanted towards LHP. Granted the 2013 card should be a good one but still a 2L or worse. Kershaw has been much more of a consistent performer. I would take Kersahw easily over Stanton in a keeper league.

Stanton will have a 2l or 3l differential against lefties, where his line is an awesome .352/.449/.637. However, his line against righties is also an impressive .281/.388/.543, and his home run ratio is actually stronger against righties (1/14.4 ABs) than it is against lefties (1/15.2 ABs). Add the fact that he has hit 21 of his 32 homers in spacious Marlins field, and the Stanton card (2-3l or no) should be a beast who will destroy righties, feast on lefties, and probably have some solid non-bp home runs on his card.

So, Kershaw wins the tie for me because the Stanton card is meh this year. However, Kershaw's improvements noted, I don't think the split in value between the two 2014 season cards will be that cut and dry.
