Interesting development last night. Wieters got hurt again for 1 game , in the game he got hurt in Norris stays at DH, Wright to C as expected. In the next game HAL does the correct thing and Norris was moved to C and Ryan Howard was placed at DH. So I guess it recognized the back up at DH this time.
A lot of times when I have multiple injuries, I clear the lineups and let HAL pick em.
Though I seldom like the way HAL orders the lineup (usually it goes by OB pct. 1-9 regardless of slugging) , HAL usually gets the best lineup into the game.
Finally figured it out completely. You have to have a back up catcher and DH in your line ups in order for your starting DH to move to another position when your starter is hurt. I made some roster moves and cut my back up DH the other night and forgot to put in a new one. Weiters got hurt again and with no back up DH Norris stayed at DH the next game and Yonder Alonso became my starting catcher because he was not listed as a starter or a back up.
Vogt is my only LF on the roster (keeper league) but I have 3 good CF and 2 good RF Hal won't let me start Vogt at ctcher and play Eaton or Kiermeier in left either of which will still be better....

Have you tried putting Vogt at C and leaving LF blank?
