100 win team playoff jinx- real or myth?

I think it's definitely a myth, mostly because we remember when a 100 win team loses to the wild card. I think the playoffs are a crap shoot (though, yes Marc, I know there are ways to plan for them) because they are such a small sample.

Still, I've won four championships in 20xx this year and have 3 100 win teams and none of them are the same.

Sadly, I've only had 1 100-win team and 1 99-win team. They both actually won the World Series. I was surprised by how many 100 win teams I DIDN'T HAVE!!

I've had several 100-loss teams. Interestingly, 100% of these teams didn't win the title. Most of these 100 loss teams were in Keeper Leagues.
My favorite bad team was this past year. I took over a Keeper League team which was abandoned by their previous owner (C'est La Vie League). My team lost 107 games and I was thankful for all 57 wins!! $73M payroll vs. teams with $120M+ payrolls. ugh --- looking forward to next year with this team and all my early round draft picks.

100 Loss team - 3

I think Kev is onto something!!

What's more surprising, is I have 10 champs from teams with 80-83 wins.... I do better when scraping by
