Where was that posted? The spreadsheet Palmtana links too above has him as a 3, not that there haven't been changes made in the past.

Saw that too Bill but here’s what they posted via Twitter yesterday

Before we start the NL, we gave out some unintentional #FakeNews yesterday... Trea Turner will be a 2 at SS!!! #StratRatings2017

Guess we will have to wait for January for the ratings guide for more up to date ratings. SOM did say that these are subject to change. Odd that they stated Turner a 2 but the range ratings say a 3. Likely will not get any confirmation before next month.

I think I've asked this before but what does "ADD" mean under the "USE" heading in the Range Ratings display?

Jeremy Hazelbaker has "ADD" listed under USE when most other hitters have REG listed. What does that mean for his use? Anything?

ADD stands for Additional cards. These are short at bat or ip cards as well as guys who were traded in season and had limited ab or ip with their teams

Range Ratings Trivia.

Ages ago I asked SOM what the criteria was for a player to be rated at a position. They replied that one out at the position was sufficient.

Recently I asked if this yardstick still stood. SOM's reply:

Generally this is still the case. However if a player plays a second or third OF position with an extremely low number of innings, the secondary OF positions may not be eligible. Also, our research team lets us know that some positions may not be carded if the player did not truly play that position even if credited with an out (entered as 5th infielder but credited as an OF, credited a new position during a shift that they didn't play, etc.)

I'm revisiting this because Ozuna played 2 innings in RF this past year but is only rated in LF and CF (10 innings played). Now we know why.

Did Ozuna get an out during his 2 innings in RF?
