Maybe, but that doesn't seem to explain the issues in my Casilla example. Casilla is an R2. All of the appearances I listed were less than 4 innings, so Rule 27.65 would not have applied unless I'm missing something.

7.63 The maximum number of innings a reliever can pitch
without fatigue is his POW inning, plus 2.
27.64 Relief pitchers cannot be used more than two straight
days. After pitching two straight days, he must rest at least one day.
27.65 Rule Update in 2010: If a reliever pitches 2 or more in-
nings above his relief fatigue rating then he must rest one day before
his next appearance. If he pitches 3 or more innings above his relief
fatigue rating then he must rest two days before his next appearance.
If a relief pitcher is used without this proper amount of rest, consider
him fatigued for the entire outing.

Thanks for the info and this is what happened to Scott Oberg (r2)

gm1 3 ip
gm3 3.1ip
gm4 2.1ip
gm6 1.2ip

He NEVER worked 2+ innings over r2(4 innings), he rested game5, and he entered game 6 f0. Why???????????????

Good point. There seems to be more conditions than those stated by 27.65 under which a reliever needs two days of rest.

I wonder: do your examples come from other days than yesterday.

Maybe it was just a big fok$#$ up from the computers yesterday

My example was from the first 6 games of my first 2018 team, so that includes games on Monday and Tuesday night. I only have one other team, which is a 2017 team. I will check that one.

Btw, if the SOM computers didn't act like the new 737 Boeing MAX, it does put the new rule to of 11 pitchers under a new light

It does seem to be trickling over to ATG as well. I just wish they'd quit treating us like mushrooms. A little transparency would be nice.

Couldn't spot one example that smelt fishy tonight, but it didn't look like a R1 was exposed to overabuse either.

I did have a reliever throw 4 fresh innings after a 2.2 ip output, but he is R3, which could be normal even if the rules had changed.

There was one weird phenomenon: I got Oliver Perez-R1 coming in in the first inning, allowed 3 straight hits, went from F9 to F0, which were all expected (3 hits triggers a fatigue mode), but he was left there for 4 innings, getting pounded at F0. Despite having fresh relievers waiting in the bullpen, no one was called out before the 6th inning. But my team didn't get in a mop-up situation, my offense kept my team within reach, so I think it was a case where Hal didn't know what to do with my other middle resting.

We will have the definite answer tonight. Doolittle pitched 3 innings in game 9. For game 10 tonight, I'll put him in every role except mop-up, and I will limit my starter to 6 innings max. So we'll see how Hal reacts.

Scott Oberg (r2) pitched 4 innings in gm9 so lets see what HAL does with him tonight

For the 2018 4 rated starter crowd--Here is a game where Woodruff did make it 5 innings, but still was pulled at F9, I had him set for F7--not only are relievers coming in at F0 more often but starters of any endurance, including Sale at 7 innings, are getting pulled earlier as a general rule--even in 2017 leagues that are still playing out and evidently all leagues. I don't have a clue how to set pitching anymore. To me it seems "role" pitchers are coming into their roles tired quite often, following the old pattern of one day rest, but tired with the new rules.
