I'm looking forward to this but I kinda think $92m isn't enough.
There's a lot of high priced guys out there.

I would agree - I think everyone's first pick could use 30-40 % of the 92M cap, and we'd still have 4 more picks.
And I'm always in favor of using theoretically better subs than .50 cent subs, especially in 20XX where most players are prone to injuries. My two cents.

92 Mil, DH, 5% drop, regular injury

same old story, draft 5 halves (pitching or hitting half). Stadium must be from one of your halves. no more than 3 of any half so everyone has either 3 hitting, 2 pitching or 2 hitting, 3 pitching. This new set seems to play weird as far as caps go and team building, so trying out a 92 mil cap, though I'm flexible.

Sign up, then we will randomize draft. Draft order will be 1-12, 12-1, 1-12, 12-1, 12-1.

I guess my experience is different than yours. From my keepers and other leagues, I have trouble trying to fill 100 mil. If you miss out on those huge guys, it's just impossible to fill up guys that fit. And I wanted to make it even for those who draft 11 and 12.

That said, I said at first I am flexible on that. not to 110, but I'm willing to go up to 100 if others feel it's in the best interest.

I like the 92, for fairness reasons. But a little higher wouldn't run me off or anything.

2020a hitters above 10 mil: 6
2020a pitchers above 10 mil: 0
2020a hitters between 9 and 9.99 mil: 6
2020a pitchers above 9 and 9.99 mil: 0
2020a hitters above 8 and 8.99 mil: 11
2020a pitchers above 8 and 8.99 mil: 2
Total players 8 mil and above: 25
2020a hitters above 7 and 7.99 mil: 8
2020a pitchers above 7 and 7.99 mil: 6
Total players 7 mil and above: 39

2019u hitters above 10 mil: 8
2019u pitchers above 10 mil: 0
2019u hitters between 9 and 9.99 mil: 4
2019u pitchers above 9 and 9.99 mil: 4
2019u hitters above 8 and 8.99 mil: 10
2019u pitchers above 8 and 8.99 mil: 3
Total players 8 mil and above: 29
2019u hitters above 7 and 7.99 mil: 13
2019u pitchers above 7 and 7.99 mil: 3
Total players 7 mil and above: 45

You can see there are LESS high priced players than in previous years. Hence my reason for a smaller cap. Again, I won't go 110, but if 6 people say they want to go up[ to 95, 97, 100, I'll change. I'm not 100% stuck at 92.

I would like to be in the league but a little slow on the rules.

Are we basically drafting 2 teams and using those players only?

We are drafting 5 half teams. You can draft 3 pitching and 2 hitting, or 3 hitting and 2 pitching.

ie. Half team is just pitching or just hitting.

Say you want Colorado hitting. You can ONLY use the Rockies hitters.
If you want the Yankees pitching, you can ONLY use the Yankees pitching.

Make sense?

True.

But there seems to be more injuries with this set coupled with guys slanted to a side.
So ya need decent backups and/or some platoons.
