My 2 cents...
Last I checked, this was a GAME.
NOBODY is twisting any arms to get guys to play.
I personally don't care that the owners are BILLIONAIRES.
If someone wanted to pay me to play baseball? A game? Where do I sign up?
I just read this:
On Tuesday, the MLBPA proposed a minimum salary of $775,000 for 2022, with $25,000 increases each subsequent year of the CBA. MLB's proposed minimum salary for 2022 was $640,000.
I love what I do for a living. But $640,000 ? And they want a raise to $775,000?
Here's what a player can do then.
Make it to the pros.
Collect your $640,000/yr.
Quit and buy yourself a MLB team.
They seem to be so unhappy with the $.
And yes... please don't try to convince me otherwise. It's ALWAYS about the $.
