Here is what SOM says for explanation:
Reg: Regular Team Cards
Mix: Mixed Player Group
Add: Additional Player Cards
Comp: Computer Player Only (no printed card)

What does "ADD" mean, West Texas manager? I used to know, but forgot. SOM needs to have a Read.me file for these abbreviations...COMP, REG, ADD, MIX....They should spell out, in detail, what each represents.

As I recall, (Ninersphan knows all this...hopefully he"ll stop by) a MIX player is one who changed teams during the season. Why MIX? Maybe because they played on a "MIXture" of teams ...who knows.

Most of the MIX players changed teams, but there are 5 who didn't. R. Acuna Jr., Yelich, Nelson Velazquez, Matt Wallner and Blaze Alexander. Maybe that's why it's called a Preview.

Yelich is why I asked. I had understood that MIC also meant changing teams. They also have Kelenic under SEA, and only played in ATL in 2024.

Here is my understanding :

REG Players who played for one team and played most of the season.
MIX Players who were traded during the season, IE card from each team and a combined card
ADD Players who had minimal at bats or innings pitched but enough to bother making a card
COMP Players without enough abs or ips so no card made but available in computer game

I get the card set each year and there is a big stack of the REG cards and then a smaller stack of MIX and ADD cards.

My social media consists of friends and family in my Contacts list on my phone. Don't be grumpy. Your Mets just landed a Whale!

Btw, if one has an X account, do you still have to view a black background on SOM's X site? That would make ME grumpy if I had to look at it for more than a few seconds at a time.

Only follow on Facebook. I refuse to add any other social media which is just different location for the same functionality. (I have this argument with my kids all the time.) So, while I agree it's good, they are talking about their product in the off season, I don't understand why it has to be X/Twitter exclusive. The company should release it on all social media channels. Again marketing 101.

Eddie has it here as far as board game inclusion, for the online game,

REG should all be included in the online game
MIX, only the combined card which should be for the last team a player played for will be in the online game
ADD, Likely won't be in the online game, but a few might slip in as UNLEASHED assuming they meet ip or ab requirements

COMP, not in the online game, only in the computer version sold on Strat's site.
