I believe it is for a neutral ballpark, but someone else can verify that. strat experts ground these numbers out for themselves prior to this addition (and still probably do), but I was just never going to put that kind of time into it myself.

It doesn't include ballpark singles or homeruns at all

Hello everyone. I finally (after consulting Mark's guide around 50 times or so:D) came up with a team that might possibly be something along the lines of what I want. I would appreciate any advise (as this is my first time), especially on how to rank those, I am doing auto draft

Money left over: 3, 370, 000. Miller Park (I wanted to copy Mark's park at least for this first time). 80 million cap. DH 2015.

Carlos Martinez, 3.45M. SP1
Robbie Ray, 1.95 M. Sp2
Jorge De La Rosa, 1.92 M. sp3
Trevor May, 1.78 M. Sp 4
Nicholas Tropeano, 2.07M. SP 5

Wade Davis: 5.87 M. Closer/Set up main reliever.
Mychal Given: 4.57M. Middle/Set up reliever.
Addison Reed: 1.08 M. Middle reliever/if need be closer.
Jared Hughes: .89 M. Middle reliever.
Scott Caroll:.78 M. Mop Up reliever.
Juan Nicasio: .5 M. Mop up/Righty Specialist.

For my batters I will put it in what I think my lineup will look like.

Matt Carpenter, L, 3B rating 3, 6.86 M.
Carlos Correa, R, SS rating 2, 5.8M.
Paul Goldschmidt, R, 1b Rating 1, 11.67M.
Colby Rasmus, , L, LF rating 3, 3.83 M.
Ryan Braun, R, DH, high clutch rating, 4.2 M.
Joc Pederson, L, CF rating 2, 3.69 M.
Chris Giminez, R, C rating 3, 3.95 M.
Josh Reddick, L, RF rating 3, 5.24 M.
Cesar Hernandez, switch hitter, 2b Rating 2, 2.32 M, good base runner/stealer.

Jake Smolinski, R, .93 M, Lefty Pitcher PH. *can play RF
Hector Olivera, R, .98 M, Righty Pitcher PH.
Lenoys Martin, L, .57 M, pinch runner. *Can play CF
Pedro Ciriaco, R, .9 M, Can play 1b, 2b, 3b, Ss, LF.
Wilson Ramos, R. .8 M. Backup catcher with strong arm and 2 rating in defense.

I thank you all in advance!

Thanks! I have one question about bullpen role: If you have two set up men, does the one that is higher on the bullpen role list get into the game more often?

The order you list bullpen rolls is important. HAL will start at the top and take the first situation that fits

Huh. So, if you want a reliever to be used the most, you put him in a lot of roles, and high up the list. Thanks!

some good players there. correa has been tearing up the leagues i'm in. c. Hernandez did great for me the 1st time, then bombed in season 2. I also had Goldschmidt both seasons, 1 mvp and one just a starting all star. I usually batted him 2nd though, as his obp is consistently great. both seasons he scored at least 130 and drove in over 100. I pegged him number 1 in season 3 but i'm not the only fan it seems. :(

I love goldy cause I think his defense makes him one of the best in this game.
I plan on making the following moves: pick up Jose Bautista and den dekker, drop Reddick and Rasumus, play Bautista and platoon Sombry/Dekker.
