The omega symbol is for clutch rating, outs after the omega become SINGLE** in clutch situations( runners in scoring position and 2outs) and become outs with hits listed after them. In all other situations ignore the omega and use the card result.

Viz isn't creating the images he's only copying them fromSOMWorld's Facebook page so you'll have to ask them to post those images.

Because a $ is on a standard keyboard and the omega symbol isn't, at least that would be my guess.

The cards have been printed LONG before computers came on the scene so I'm sure the Omega is simply a carry over from the old type set days and once they went electronic they needed something on a standard keyboard.
