Not sure what's worse, A) the fact that another thread has degraded due to a certain individual or B) That you guys feeding this troll, by quoting him, ruins my script fun of not having to see his posts.

Hi Chuck,
When an injury occurs to a starting pitcher and there are no other starters eligible to pitch (they will all be tired since the team only has 5 starters), the game chooses a reliever to pitch instead. Unless the other team picks up a starting pitcher, which they're not able to do at this point in the season in your league, the reliever will show as the scheduled starter. This is something the game chooses automatically, the other manager cannot choose this pitcher themselves.

I suppose there's merit in that "rule" - my opponent had 5 non-* starters in his rotation. It's a rare item. I'm much more interested in seeing the game replay join us in the 21st century. If I get a response, which I hope I will, I'll share it here.

(Hi Rob - a decent season in the keeper league heals all wounds!)
(Time wounds all heals)
WOW
Thanks Chuck, learn something new every day. I am going to model it in our 60's league using your Tidewater Tides and see if it behaves the same way in the CDROM game.
