that's just off the charts, statistics-wise

he averages 15% more HRs per 9 THAN THE LEAGUE AVERAGE

If this isn't just the bell curve, than obviously there's some HAL rule we don't know about to randomly take down high-priced pitchers .... No one else on my team has anything even remotely comparable, INCLUDING THE BAD PITCHERS!

whip isn't as nice, but for 1/3 price.....

my point is for that much $$ you should be expecting better results. It's the dollars/results ratio, which is out of whack with Kershaw, not whether he can ever be decent. For 9 million he needs to be better than decent.

Tom, I don't know if you were referring to my post --- my point is that Kershaw has been great, but has had an off-the-charts proportion of HR on the batters' cards -- not his fault, and maybe even some weird thing in the game engine

Steve, just like my league with you, that team is in Rogers (and WHY is it spelled "Centre"??) -- CK is 12 for 16 (75%) in ballpark HR, compared to THE REST OF THE STAFF at 26 for 51 (51%)

btw, the team -- my first for 2012 -- is tied for most wins (lots of credit to CK) at nearly the mid-point:
