"BALTIMORE: JJ Hardy gets a 1 at SS, Mark Reynolds a 3 at 1B and a 5 at 3B."

That's a no brainer for JJ

Oh ya I saw that email. Not on twitter though. :x Does it cost anything to sign up.

Or maybe I could just give you a list of all the players I have in my keeper leagues and you could post them all for me. ;)

No cost to be on Twitter.

I seem to remember SOM being rather perturbed at posting the ratings on the Forums last year. They wanted the following on Twitter.

Huh,

seems they've got a built in internet community ( these forums) dedicated to their product that doesn't require signing up for another 3rd party service we may not be interested in...

and you wonder why their marketing/PR gets bashed repeatedly ;)

Well, looks like they aren't posting the error or arm strength ratings. Just the range factor.

That's what it looks like. I can't figure out what the "B" means or the number after it.

B is the rating in the basic game,, the "simpler " side of the card if you've ever played the board game. It has no bearing on the version we play here online. The board game actually has several different versions, Basic, advanced, super-advanced and then the CD-ROM adds more stuff to the super-advanced rules too.

Some players have different range ratings in the basic versus advanced game becasue there are no error ratings in the basic game and to account for them the ratings between the 2 are different. I know it seems odd that in the example above Cody Ross looks to be a better fielder in the basic game, but in actuality, the X chart is completely different for the basic game, with errors on the range chart. so a 2 fielder in the basic game is not the equivilent to a 2 fielder in the advanced/super-advanced game.

Thank you.

SOM will be tweeting more ratings tomorrow at 9am. EST I guess. Poor Billy Butler. Was he really that bad at 1B?
