I like the greater control offered by the reverse lineups. With a three-game series each evening, there is very little possibility of facing two or three pitchers who throw from the same side and who are (both/all three) stronger against the opposite side. In other words, it would be a rare occurrence to want the reverse lineup in one game and not in another, against the same-armed pitcher, in the same series. When that rare case does occur, though, the decision could be tough.
I can see wanting to use a reverse lineup against some SPs (like Ricky Romero 2011), but I can also see wanting it to be inactive most of the time. I would not want to have to reset the ENTIRE lineup, with subs, each time I make the reverse lineup active; it seems that a "Active/Inactive" button would be a good choice. You would preserve the structure of the Reverse Lineup when it is inactive, but you could choose to activate it with a single click.
One comment on a minor point, from above: I think that any programming change will occur in the middle of one league or another. Friday is the last day of my current season, and my best SP is Ricky Romero, whose value is reduced by the capability of reverse lineups. With respect to all, I support the decision to install it.
