Post your story of drama:

Mine is: I was down 3-0 in a first round playoff series, losing 3 one run games. I won game 4. Then in game 5 I was down to my last out on the road in the ninth when Alfonso Soriano launched a pinch hit 2 run homer off Sean Marshall to take a 5-4 lead. I added another run to win 6-4. I went on the take games 6 and 7, znd then won the championship series 4 games to 1.

In the finals, I lost the first three games. The first one was an 8-2 yawner, while the second game's scoring went like this: I took a 5-3 lead going into the bot 7th, where he tied it up, and took the 6-5 lead in the 8th on a Napoli slam. I tied it in the ninth on a Danny Espinosa home run, but he won in the bottom of the 10th on a two run shot by non other than Napoli. The third game again went extra innings, and it was even wilder. I was up 6-5 at home when in the top of the 8th his team scored two runs. In the bottom of the ninth, I again tied it up on Jesus Montero's home run. In the 13th, Willingham hit a two run shot to put his team up 9-7, but the game wasn't over. Montero cut the lead in half with his second shot, and then Justin Upton walked, before promptly getting picked off to end the game.

I then won the next three games. A 9-4 easy win in the 4th game (although I did come back from two early deficits). In game 5, I was sure I had lost the series when my team came up to the plate in the bottom of the 8th down 8-6. My team manufactured two runs (on three walks, a single and a sac fly) and I walked off in the bottom of the 10th with an Adrian Beltre slam. In game six, I was down 4-1 going into the 7th. My team scored a run in each of the 7th and 8th innings on home runs by Espinosa and Goldschmidt which made it 4-3 going into the ninth. Ellsbury tied it up for me with a leadoff homer, before Upton struck out and Montero singled. Goldy gave me the lead for good with his two run shot, his second home run of the game. I won 6-4.

Game seven was horrible. This time on the road, I was leading 4-3 leading up to the 7th inning stretch. I felt pretty confident with Dan Hudson on the mound and Eduardo Sanchez in the pen (Sanchez had a great year). Then things fell apart. In the 7th, his team scored 4 runs (two that got on base on intentional walks, ugh) and added two in the 8th for insurance. He ended up winning the game 9-4.

I lost the series, but it was still immensely enjoyable. The team leading at the 7th inning stretch won just two games in the series.

I won my division with an 80-82 record. I lost the first semi game 2-0. The next 8 games went 7-1, 6-2, 11-2, 8-4 (win) 3-2, 6-4, 9-3, and 5-2 in my favor. I had a great team that under performed all season and waited until the post season to shine. Not really exciting just another HAL team to win it all. The first team had a 91-71 record and the second team was 87-75, both were in the same division. I went 5-7 against both teams.
