Down by 1 bottom of 9th. Get a leadoff triple, but he is caught trying to steal home. How can you tell if this a missed squeeze attempt? That's the only thing that makes sense (sort of). A squeeze with no outs is bad managing.

BOTTOM OF INNING 9
SUBSTITUTION at LF: Vernon Wells
0 A.Jackson 3-5 Triple (CF) b-3 F3
SUBSTITUTION at P: Brandon League
SUBSTITUTION at PH: Will Venable
Caught Stealing 3-o F9
1 W.Venable 4-8 Single (CF) b-1 F9
1 1 D.Pedroia 3-8 Strike Out b-0 F9
SUBSTITUTION at PH: Alexi Casilla
2 1 A.Casilla 1-9 Fly Out (RF) b-0 F9

The Team and Venable bunting settings are normal

Looks to me like a "batter misses pitch" result of a botched squeeze play. It was the tying run in the 9th, so even with no outs there is certainly a non-zero chance of HAL trying that rather dumb play. I've seen it in real life too, and it drives me absolutely crazy. Of course the batter who was at bat ends up getting a single.
