Rymer Liriano

He's a Padres farmhand (rightfielder) that has some exciting tools. Well, in keeping with last years injury-plagued season they have started off 2013 on the same note...Liriano misses the year with TJ surgery. He tweeked his elbow playing catch in the Dominican where he lives in the off season. Padres had many minor league pitchers and even a few major league pitchers develop elbow issues last year. Now it's affecting their position players. Bummer!

Well playing catch is a rather dangerous and unusual activity for a baseball player.

I saw quite a few games in San Antonio; I was not overly impressed.
He never jumped out like say Oscar Tavares did.

He's not in Oscar's league. Not yet anyhow.
