My first team 24 teams just started playing Monday. I went for a neutral park and took a lot of players I like

Bought a second team in a 12 team, I think my "learning curve" has been pretty good

any comments welcomed

One issue on your Scorpions team that you've already run into is that you've got basically 4 full time players with an injury rating of 2 or higher. They will miss a lot of games. I generally try and have only one (maybe two) full timers with a 2 or higher injury rating.

24-team league I would be worried about Liriano getting used in relief too much. All your RPs are stamina 1. Many times I'll just pick a .50 SP only to fill a spot rather than have a not very good SP/RP or RP.

12-team league -Same with Joe Kelly. You're going with a pitcher's park and strong D team, but you may struggle to score enough especially given the relatively high injuries ranking. The OF defense is suspect with 10 error guys.
The good strong D up the middle.

Do the settings help? I have Liriano checked as mop-up
in 12 league I have Kelly as righty specialist, avoid lefties, quick hook, max 1-2 ip?
thanks

I'm not a fan of having someone as a mop up RP because I feel that it's always possible to blow a big lead or come back from a big deficit. In a mop up role, Liriano is still going to get a lot of innings. I'd drop him for an SP only rating

I never use mopup either. To me it's like giving up. I suppose Kelly won't be a problem as a RH specialist, but keep an eye of Liriano. Just my preference, but I'd rather waste a pitching spot than have it hurt me.
