I just drafted a new team and it has only one catcher!!! now my wavier draft is messed up because I think I'll have to take a catcher first--or just skip the wavier draft entirely and play with one catcher--to bad he's not a good one.

You should definitely contact strat ASAP using the email on the drop down menu - InfoHelp/Contact us.
Mark it urgent/time sensitive and put an exclamation point at the beginning and end of the subject line.
In the body of the email, tell them your member name, the league name, and the name of your team. Explain that you drafted only one catcher.
Consistent with the spirit of the draft (I think), you should tell strat in the email the name of a catcher with a salary of $500k that you would like to get as a substitute, and tell strat what batter you would drop. Ask them to do it before the waiver draft.
***
I wouldn't want to try playing with one catcher. Unofficially there is an ironman rule for the second of 2 catchers, but it's unpredictable what would happen with one catcher. It's also unpredictable what would happen in your waiver draft. I suspect your waiver picks might not go through if you only have one catcher, unless you use your first waiver draft pick to take a catcher, but I don't know for sure.
I think that you may find that strat will get back to you very quickly on this. Contact them ASAP as set out above.
Hope this helps.

By the way, I sent an email myself, but I strongly encourage you to send an email yourself as well.
Among other things, I don't know what your league name is, but it will undoubtedly help to get this solved quickly if you send an email as well.
If it doesn't get fixed, I would suggest drafting a catcher with your first waiver pick.

Thanks for sending the email I have tried to send one myself--but someone has tried to break into my email and it may be blocked by spamcop----I DO NEED ADVISE if this has happened to anyone else---I figure I will have to draft a .50M catcher first in my waivers or I will not meet roster requirements and all my waiver drafts will fail---I tried to draft Weiters and Pacheo and missed both (it is not Pacheo's primary position, but I thought the draft engine would put in a second catcher with my 14th non-pitcher pick--I did draft a pitcher last)--they were both up there --both within my first 8 picks I think.

I don't know....doesn't sound like a major problem to bother customer service with. You just pick up a catcher in the first round of waivers. Next time, you should probably draft three catchers if you plan on trying to grab a non-primary position catcher or put him on the top of your draft card.

The rules should require you to draft two primary catchers, not two catchers---I shouldn't be able to submit a draft list without two primary catchers if the program can't catch it (though being a programmer in the past I can see how it happened)--I'm not going to lose any sleep over it or get upset in the grand scheme of things though (hey its just a game, and a good one)--but it is a programming bug---I am playing in two different leagues where other teams only backup catcher is Pacheo which gave me the idea anyway.

First let me say it's a drag that it happened to you, I'm sure it can be fixed. My main comment is in regards to Pacheco in general. What purpose does he serve as a back up catcher? he doesn't hit enough to play 1b and doesn't hit enough to outway his horrible D at 3b. So what do you have, a 2.87 bench player? unless you're planning on him being your starting catcher, which I can see people doing, but myself I would never play a +2 at catcher unless his name was Piazza

Pacheo is very good vs lefties, especially in a pitchers parks, he loses no hits in clutch situations and can back first and third, I may catch him vs some poor stealing teams as my pitchers have excellent hold ratings, and actually start him at first against lefties. Wieters and others like him does not get injured much so he would only catch in an emergency situation anyway--if you want to know my logic. Somebody valued him more than me because I had in about 8th on my draft list.

He is very sought after in tournament play, where you have to have a backup at every position. Of course, in that context there are no salaries to consider. If you're going to punt catcher's throwing he'd make a nice platoon with Castro I would think
