This is a 2007-12 six-season keeper league.

There are 273 players who have cards in every season from 2007-12 (182 hitters and 91 pitchers). We will start with the 2007 season and have a 22-round draft of these players here on the boards. Those 22 players will form the core of your team throughout the six seasons. Good drafting will be vital. I have a spreadsheet of these players if you are interested.

$80M/DH/25 man rosters at all times/Unique Stadiums/Unleashed included

23-round draft of 22 players and one unique stadium. You will keep your stadium for the duration of the league. If your stadium ceases to exist you will use its replacement.

Managers will have to carry over their core players from season to season as follows:

2007 - 22 keepers - 3 round draft of free agents - 19 keeper minimum/25 maximum
2008 - Drop one keeper - 4 round draft of free agents - 18 keeper minimum/25 maximum
2009 - Drop one keeper - 5 round draft of free agents - 17 keeper minimum/25 maximum
2010 - Drop one keeper - 6 round draft of free agents - 16 keeper minimum/25 maximum
2011 - Drop one keeper - 7 round draft of free agents - 15 keeper minimum/25 maximum
2012 - Drop one keeper - 8 round draft of free agents - 14 keeper minimum/25 maximum

Trades are allowable and encouraged, but when keepers are traded they become keepers for their new teams. Each new season draft will take place as soon as the current season ends, hopefully with only a week or two gap between each.

Keepers cannot be dropped during the season. Only traded. When traded they become keepers for the new team.

$80M George. I considered $100, but the average salary of the keepers is in the $2.5 - $2.7 range, so $80 should be fine.

Send me a spreadsheet (fredaaron@optonline.net).

If we pick a stadium for a team that moves (ie, Shea in2007), do we get the replacement stadium (ie, Citifield in 2009)?

Let's say yes to that Fred. Pick a team's stadium and stay with it for the duration, even if they move. Given how strat's stadium ratings change, it won't make a huge difference anyway.

Spreadsheet on its way.
