Been playing the game for 30+ years, does anyone know the difference between those 2 results
or even a say a #HR 1-12, fly(lf)B 13-20. ?

If all these rolls with a # in front of them end up.... as the online rules say... " The original result listed is ignored -- in
effect, the result will be determined by "rolling against" the ballpark's home run rating (a random number from 1-20). " then what difference does it make and why are they listed differently when anything with a # in front of them is
ignored ? They could all be just listed as # flyball (or #HR) .........Might be simple answer but anyone have one?

We play a set of rules that include Ballpark home runs. There are other ways to play strat head to head which ignore ballpark effects, so those results are used for that.

OK, makes sense.... those results are for those opting out on ballpark affects in their league, thanks ....

the two are exactly the same. You go to the ballpark HR rating for the park you are playing that game in.
