Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

Not a big deal, obviously the world won't end if the SOMO site is not up for five hours, but why is the SOMO site shut down "to prepare for the sale of SOM's new summer board game products"? Is the SOMO website so intermingled with the rest of the Strat website that they have to take SOMO down just to change something on the rest of the website? Did SOM use the time machine to bring in some software engineers from 1993 who can't do any better?

It's a big load on their 33.6 modem...

And the rats running around their wheels powering the games need a break too ya know!

I guess so . I am possibly being a little harsh on them but it still seems kind of bush league to shut down a site (that people pay to use) for "maintenance" when the reason for the maintenance is completely unrelated to the product other than it's the same company. If it was for maintenance on SOMO itself than that would be understandeable. Yeah, I know, anybody who misses SOMO for five hours needs to get a life.

The summer SOM newsletter says they are rolling out the 60s (Superstar Sixties) for SOM Baseball Online - perhaps it will happen Wednesday.

Nope, They already projected a start to the 60's game as being late August/early Sept.

Would you believe me if I told you, adding games is not the only reason for maintenance to happen?

3 of my 4 teams are in last place. My 4th team is way ahead. Maybe this will help me out as every time they do this my teams seem to head in a different direction.
